You're right.
Either way the result MUST be the same.
No mysteries.
=SUM(A1-A2-A3)
It has the same result:
=A1-A2-A3
Looking to your formulas we can see a little mistake.
Is it this error that is affecting its result?

E72 and E73 have differents signals!!
