My Pictures have dissapeared.

Hello,

I was cleaning out old photos that I didn't need and was moving things around and all of a sudden a little box pops up and says that this shortcut is no longer valid and that it no longer exists or has been moved.

I closed out of it and tried reopening my pictures, but all I got was a loud beep.

I restored everything from my recycling bin and they weren't in there... and I did a system restoration and they still didn't appear.

What do I do???

I am running a vista system.
