How to make image appear fully in messenger?

Hi there,
I’m wanting to send an image on messenger, but was wondering if there’s a way to make it appear in full for the receiver in the chat, rather than it being zoomed in?
Can I resize it on photoshop or something?

Hi,

Are you trying to send several images in a single message?

If so, they will appear side by side and be zoomed. When the images appears zoomed in the conversation, you can display them in full size by tapping on one of the images.

If you want to avoid them appearing zoomed and side by side, you just have to send one image per message.

Yes I’ve been trying to send just one image :)

Once the image sent, tap on it. Does the image appear zoomed or in full size?

Yeah so the image appears fully sized when you tap on it, but I'm more wondering if maybe I could adjust it so that it also appears in full size on the chat?

Are you using the latest version of Messenger? On which device you're using the app?

On a computer, go to https://www.messenger.com and sign in to your account. Then check if it appears zoomed or not.

If your image still appears zoomed, it is possible that the image you're trying to send is too large to appear in full size directly on the chat. You can try sending an image in a smallest size if possible.

Yeah I’m trying to send it on the iPhone Messenger-app.
It’s not zoomed in on the computer, however it is on the phone.
I think I did try minimising the size a bit, but it didn’t seem to make any difference (however it did make it smaller on the desktop messenger.)
