Windows vista compaq HP lapotop does not start

Hello,
My HP laptop does not start. The message says the Bootmgrs if compressed and when asked to press ctrl, alt and delete buttons the compaq loge comes and goes back to the same message. Pleae help

Press F8 during startup until you got advanced boot option menu on that select repair computer.
