Connecting my laptop to my tv

when my hdmi cable is connected to my laptop the tv's response is no signal. i have done the function button and update the driver and still nothing . Please can somebody HELP.

Try changing the resolution on your laptop to one which your TV supports.

even this advise doesn't work . :( . the laptop was working in the afternoon , but not in the evening .

Check the Windows update history as it may have installed a graphics driver.

If it has, uninstall it.

it has tried to install a framework .net file . would that apply ? nothing else graphics . its really driving me up the walls .

No that wouldn't cause an issue

Do you have a button on your keyboard which looks like two screens?

Have you also tried looking under display properties for your computer?

Right click the desktop, sometimes there are advanced graphics options in that menu.

i have tried all of the above and nothing works .:(

Run Windows updates to see if there are any graphics driver updates. Also do you have another cable to can try to the tv? And have you set your tv source to be from the correct connector.
