One of my users is having a strange issue. When she tries to open a PDF file from within Internet Explorer 8 using Adobe Acrobat Reader X (latest version) it pops up a small grey error windows saying:
There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (0:104)
Then the user hits ok and its just a grey screen. Ive went into addons and made sure all the helper objects are enabled for Adobe, even disabling them all gives the same result.
Now if the user tries to access the file like 10x, eventually it will open up but this keeps happening. Even reinstalled the application and same outcome.
Any ideas?

Antonbro,
Please use one of the following solutions:
1- Make sure you have just one version of Adobe installed.
2- uninstall Reader
disable virus protection
install Reader
enable virus protection
3- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-in-browser.html
Good Luck
