my sony vaio laptops"s wifi is not working forr only one router
but it is giving signal

What encryption does the wifi have?

Are you able to connect on if you take off the password to the router.

Who's is the router?

you need to change change security type into WEP and change wireless channel then it will start working fine.

Don't change to WEP.

WEP is old technology and is easily hacked.
change security to WPA mixed.
