No desktop icons

Hello,My name is Thabo and i have an Acer Aspire E1-510.Two days ago while running AVG Tune Up i switched off my pc.Now no desktop icons appear except start icon which work fine,i can't open some programs but can some,no sound even though sound at 100%.Please help me

Hello

What is your operating system?

I strongly suggest you discard AVG Tune up as it probably deleted some registry items.

Am running Windows 10 and i did that,taskbar icons now appear but icons on the middle left are still not appearing and no sound still

Click on start, click on system, click on system protection and then on restore.
