Hello,

I have a Lenovo T400, I just installed a fresh instance of Windows 7 and was after unable to connect through Wifi as it could not find a suitable adapter. Anyway, I thought of updating everything as it is an older machine, I started with the BIOS Update.
After BIOS update has finished, it restarted and a black screen came up, I waited like 10 minutes and nothing, tried restarting plenty of times after but I get nothing as if the Screen is dead!

Any idea how I can recover this ?

A failed BIOS update can often only be corrected by the replacement of the BIOS chip with a new correctly programmed chip. The problem is the manufacturer may not stock this part for an older machine.

Good luck
