It is the isp box. I encourage you to call your isp for support, you are already paying for that support!

Wifi in a car needs a cell phone connection to work. Have you configured the cars connection?

Not only has the wifi stopped working I don't even see the list of available networks anymore.
Didn't find the answer you are looking for?
Ask a question
have you verified the WiFi adaptor is on? What type of laptop is it so that we can verify the type of hardware. is it possible you WiFi is an N type router, and you laptop is a G?

Not sure what that is where would I find that information
it us in the router itself. gain access to it and verify the band's. your laptop only supports a b and g band's. it is possible you router us is only sending out the n band in which case your laptop cannot speak on that band!

Rouder is the same as modem internet box you referring to or laptop itself
if you are not familiar with logging into your router then call your ISP for support, you are already paying for that support. Call your ISP!

This laptop appears to be five or six years old. Is that correct and did this PC previously connect to the wifi router?
If it worked previously then you probably have a hardware failure. Most Dell laptops have a removable wifi card that can be replaced otherwise you can replace the wifi with an external USB wifi adapter.
Good Luck
