This normally happens when the hard drive has suffered some sort of corruption. Have you tried doing the Startup Repair? You might be lucky and have a partition on your hard drive that has the recovery console already installed. If you are not so lucky you will need the Windows 7 installation DVD.
When you are in the recovery environment after pressing enter (or waiting for the timeout to happen) then enter the command prompt ant type the following code:
Press the [Enter] key and wait for the checks to finish. It can take a very long time and sometimes seems as though it has frozen. Please let it do what it wants and only worry if it takes more than about 10 hours (it shouldnt take anywhere near that time, but I have experienced this on a few occasions).
When it has finished, type exit and hit the {Enter]key and restart your machine. Hopefully all is good and it will boot properly.
Let me know what happens and I will take you through the next part of the process.
