Your question is confusing ..... do u mean to say , you have some cut of dates in sheet2!D4 and result in sheet2!E4 you wanna mention work is done or not ?????
Then in Sheet!1 you want to count work done in whole column of D & E ?????

On sheet 1 i need to count 1 in D5 each time the things on sheet 2 that are met that are as follows,
D4 says Pending
E4 has a date in it that i put in it such as 4/22/09 and if that date goes past 30 days (5/22/09)
These two things have to be met to be able to count 1 on sheet 1 D5
I hope this sounds right. I am trying to learn excel and it is such a great program but very hard for me to get the functions down. Thank you so much for your help. Mike
