Password cannot be recovered online

ive got a yahoo email account ive had for awhile but i lost internet and have not been able to get on, ive now got internet and im having issues..i have a secondary email to it&i dont remember my password but keeps telling me that it cannot be recovered online, please help because this is my main email account and ive got soooo much on it that i need..
