Can UNIX go to wireless?

Hello,

I am seeking the help by looking the possibilities of wireless communication in my UNIX system.
Does anyone know the answer? I think it might something deals with the hardware but I am not true sure.

Hello this is possible. you just have to check the driver manager

Which linux/unix distribution you have, and which wireless card you have, need these informations to help you
