Broken screen

Hello,
My screen is broken on my hp 2000 notebook PC and I did a factory reset ,now the external monitor says No Signal even though it's plugged into the laptop. What can I do to get it working again? I can't see anything on my laptop screen.

It's not a good idea to try a factory reset when only using an external monitor. The reset/Windows install does not see the external monitor in its early stages. You might need to replace the broken screen before you can rest.
