If the offenders status has court date then 20 days will be added to the deadline date. I am to use an if function to achieve this task. However the table that has the status of the offenders is separate from the one that will be used to calculate the exact court date.

Is the worksheet (table) in the same book? IF so, then just reference the sheet with =Sheet1!.cell_value

It is that simple!
