USB ports have become inoperable

Hello,
My HP Pavillion g7 was upgraded to windows 10 a few months ago. Since then all USB ports have become inoperable.I've been told by a " Geek" that they are not supported by windows 10. Does this sound right? Is there a work around if so?

Hi there,

that info from the "geek" is total BS.

Run Windows Updates and install all updates.
