Video MP4 files have changed to .flv

Hello, I'm using Dell Latitude D630 and the problem that I've faced is that all my video files in my computer has changed their appearance from normal Mp4 files and turned like Flv files. I would like to know if it's just the computer settings or a virus and the way to solve the problem, thanks.

Hi

It's not a virus! Can you play the flv videos? Did you download those files from the web? What software are you using to view your videos?

check the properties of the files to confirm if the file extension is still in .mp4

If the file extension is in .flv than change the extension from .flv to .mp4
