Have ID and password, but don't have old phone number to verify

Hello,

I have my ID and password. It's been long time i have opened my account. now while trying to login it's asking to verify the account with the phone number i have updated long back and which i don't use and don't remember. please help.

the old account was probably deleted if you didn't use it.

Yahoo mail offers no option to recover an old account other than using the phone method.
