Forgot Hotmail password

Hi there my daughter has forgotten her password for her hotmail account we have tried everything when we fill in the security questions it says we have to wait 24hrs to try again with no luck been trying for over a week to get in this account rang Microsoft who told me I would have to pay £89 to recover the account daughter only needs to get in the account to reset her Apple ID as she forgotten that aswell!
