Hello, I was deleted things from my computer to make more space for memory then it froze. So I turned it off with power button. I turned it and said "safe mode, safe mode with Network, start windows, etc". I clicked Start windows and it just went to a black screen. It just didn't change. I've looked on here for solutions. Most of the answers have the computers data or memory completely erased. I want to know if there's a way to have my computer work again with all my files, documents, photos, music, videos staying? If there's a work where everything doesn't have to be deleted. Thanks.

you don't tell us what version of Windows you were using.

You have erased a critical Windows file and it no longer works. Some version of Windows have a "repair" CD that MIGHT be able to fix things. Otherwise you might need to remove the hard drive and copy your files to another computer before you reinstall Windows and erase all your data.

Good Luck

Windows 7 is what I have. And I was just erasing videos I didn't need anymore.
