Signed into my yahoo mail account

Hello, i havent signed into my yahoo mail account in over a year. I tryed signing in but i forgot my password. When i click forgot password and put my email address it says my email address doesnt exist. So i tryed making a new account with the same exact email address and it says my email address is already in use ! What do i do ?
