Hi DAYASHANKARPAROCHE,
Could you please give us more details about the issue? Is this an external drive? How are you trying to format the drive?
I would recommend you to run the Command Prompt as an Administrator and type the following commands:
Diskpart
List disk
Select disk n (n is the number of the drive)
Clean
Now go to Disk Management, locate the drive and right click it. Select Format and check if the process will start. Let me know if there is progress.
