So I used to have issues with my computer not booting, I heard my hard drive struggling to "find the start". It did this, so I just holded the power button to turn off the computer, so I can try booting it again. But after that my screen or mouse doesn't even turn on. My fans are spinning and everythig seems to work but my screen or mouse doesnt turn on. My external hard drive however spins and the led turns on. I tryed removing the RAM and my motherboard does beep. So I tgink my motherboard works. I tryed replacing the RAM but it didnt work.

Hi Googl3man,

Removing the RAM was a good idea and it really seems that the motherboard is running fine. I would check the condition of the power supply. It is possible that PSU provides enough power for the cooling and the USB charge and not enough to run the whole PC. In that case you may need to replace the PSU.
I suggest you to seek assistance from a technician. They usually have spare parts and may be able to try with another supply unit and confirm it that causes the trouble.

Hope this helps

So, your PSU didn’t work on his PC too and his PSU didn’t work on your PC, right? I’m not sure what may have happed to his PC, but if another PSU does not work on your PC, the issue may be motherboard related. The problem is that sometimes, when a PSU is not working properly it may damage other components, like the motherboard, for example. Is there any chance to have the motherboard tested?
