What do you mean your PC does not respond, does it freeze and become unusable or just the USB is not recognized? Have you tested the USB on another PC? Is it working normally?
If the PC is usable but the USB seems unrecognized, please connect the USB, open Disk Management and check if the USB is recognized. Does it have a drive letter? If it does not have, assign one manually by right clicking on the drive. Try to access it once again. Any changes?
Does your audio player have some kind of installation disk as a part of the package? If so, use to install the necessary drivers.
