Hello,
HI EVERYONE! I AM WYL. I JUST BOUGHT AN HP Dv7-1243 cL NOTEBOOK PC. I AM A MUSIC ARRANGER AND I'M USING CAKEWALK SONAR 8 PRODUCER EDTION SOFTWARE. THOUGH SONAR 8 IS VISTA COMPATIBLE BUT I'M HAVING A PROBLEM. I JUST LEARNED THAT SONAR 8 IS A NATIVE TO WINDOWS XP OS.

VISTA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY LEXICON AUDIO INTERFACE THOUGH ITS VISTA COMPATIBLE. I CAN'T RECORD AUDIO IN SONAR. I NEED TO CHANGE MY VISTA OS TO AN XP OS. PLEASE HELP HOW TO DO THIS....... THANK YOU SO MUCH

what you have to remember is that vista is still a new operating system when the update comes for your music software that is when the problems will stop it is due to the fact that the it hasnt been truly designed for windows vista. personally i would stick with the vista and wait for the update.
