Hello,

Am using lenovo g450 laptop with upgraded to Windows 8 pro but the sticker on the lenovo is Windows 7. I bought the lenovo laptop from friend of mine last 1 year. I only get a lenovo with the power cable and no Windows CD/CDR and Recovery Disk.
Currently i have a problem with the laptop. When I start/on the laptop, the blue screen appear with this message

RECOVERY
There was a problem with a device connected to your PC

An unexpected I\0 error has occurred

File:\Boot\BCD
Error code: 0xc00000e9

This problem can happen when a removable storage device is removed while it's in use or is failing. Properly connecting any removable storage and restarting your PC may fix this problem.

Then after a few times, it’s appeared with dos messages

Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v11.0.11
Copyright ( C ) 2000-2008 Broadcom Corporation
Copyright ( C ) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
All rights reserved
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM

I tried in many ways to solve it but still couldn't fix the problem. I also need to retrieve all the docs file in the laptop.

What should I do? Please help me.

Thank you.

The error message - An unexpected I/O error has occurred, Status: (0Xc00000e9) is a hardware error pertaining to your computer's BIOS. Basically
it is telling you that the computer is not able to reliably communicate with the hard drive.
Looks in your case that it is trying to boot from an external hard disk.

I suggest you to update the BIOS. You must get in touch with the system manufacturer to update the BIOS.

Hi,

Have you recently and still got a USB pen stick plugged in to your computer?

If so, take it out.

If you have a CD in, take it out.
