Your question is bizarre ! Tiff is Tagged Image File Format, abbreviated TIFF or TIF. Why would you wish to convert them to pdf ?
Are the images to be inserted into another document which will be converted to pdf ?

Actually, I have a CD with many .tif files on it but I would like to be able to print these files for future reference. Thank you very much.

You need not to convert them to be able to print them.
