Drivers needed for hp pavillion dv2815 nr

Hello,
i have a hp pavillion dv 2815 nr. if i connect headphones to my laptop it fails to detect them and the speaker (when i use the speaker the other person hears but when i shout they think i mumbled something)doesnot work properly . can some one tell what the problem might be . plz help me with some links if i need to install any drivers.

hi,
there may be a problem with the headphone socket.
and also with your microphone.
get it verified by a qualified technician.

i lost it after i have reinstalled all the drivers and softwares from the net(i lost the original driver cds given with the laptop). i want to know if this is because i didnt install some driver
