What should I do if the first icon in my desktop is getting automatically selected? I have scanned my computer using Avg, Avast and avira antivirus but none of them detected any virus or malwares. Can anyone help me out to sort this out. I am currently using Windows 8.1.model is lenovo g500..

hi,

Check your startup folder and remove the link if one is there. Also check the startup files in msconfig.

Thank you..bt nothing there in startup folder..still thke problem continues

Have you looked in msconfig on the start tab (assuning you are using Windows 8 or less (I think it changed in Windows 10, but it might have been Windows 8). Otherwise, if using Windows 10 it might be in the Task Manager Startup tab.
