Samsung check cable when pc off

So my samsung led monitor works perfectly apart from the check signal message that comes on after the PC is turned OFF.
Very annoying as it lights up my room at night, it goes away if i turn it off by the button obviously but this also is very annoying.
Any help will be much appreciated thanks in advance.

There is no solution to this. You must turn off the monitor which should not require a big effort.

Well my asus, hp and even unbranded monitors do not have this issue so its either a design fault or something that im missing. Funny enough it doesnt do this on my old computer that was using dvi port instead of hdmi.
