Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series black flickering screen on startup

My laptop screen flickers blck and the light under the keys flickers on and off. I have tried restarting and running the screen diagnostics by holding down D while on startup it goes red/white/blue there are no lines or black spots but I can't ever get to the Dell logo or actual startup screen? Please help...

It appears you have a motherboard failure.
