Hello, earlier this week my Monitor slot in the back of my CPU stopped working. The monitor would no longer work when I connected it to the slot, so I ended up having to connect it to my Nvidia Geforce 5200 monitor slot. Tonight was the first time I have tried to play my games since I switched the Monitor connections. Could this have anything to do with the problems I am having loading all of my PC games now? I have been noticing that my monitor has been auto adjusting a lot while I am online, or on my PC period.

I am stumped and will take all the help I can get. I know someone on here knows how to fix this.

I am using a Dell Dimension 2400 with a 2.8GHz Pentium 4, 1 Gig of Ram, and a Nvidia Geforce 5200 with the latest drivers

I forgot to mention this also. Whenever I get on youtube I can watch videos fine if it is in small screen. The moment I put it on Full Screen it freezes up. I am not very smart with PC's so I will take any help given.

Thanks Guys

This one is a real bugger to fix. Note that a lot of pc games will load vidio drivers, directX and open GL's.The first thing to do is get back up and running. you may have to remove your vid card and reboot, then shut down, then reinstall vid card and connect monitor, then startup pc.next check what vidio drivers you have installed and witch you are running.you may have to uninstall all but one and reinstall one driver app.such as DirectX9.are 10. this will take some time and I said it's a bugger.allways be cairfull win installing pc. games, if you have installed vidio drivers, you do not need to install a driver app from a game you are installing, unless it is better than what you are allready running.you can download directX9,10 are better free on line, just serch DirectX Drivers free download.hope this help's you. good luck.Cooool....

Would Formatting my Hard Drive solve this problem?

I had been considering doing this for a while now. I have all my important files backed up.
