That, if it is a virus, is one of the weirdest things I ever encountered.
Could you please post here a Hyjackthis report to see if we can identify the culprit and remove it?
Download and install Hyjackthis. Request a scan and save a log. Copy the log and paste it here.

P.S. Just in case as it may help the investigation. How do you download your MP3? (U-Torrent, Limewire,) What software do you use to play your MP3?
