iphone 3gs wont sync on vista home basicClosed

Question

hi there. just got iphone 3gs 16g, my problem is i downloaded latest version of itunes 9 and when i connect my phone it keeps coming up as syncserver has stopped working? my laptop is vista home basic which does not appear to be compatible with iphone. only vista premium and vista ultimate are mentioned. is there a way round this problem to allow me to download music to my iphone?  help would be much appreciated.  thanks.  rob.

Dear Sir, 

The solution to this problem is copying libxml2.dll and libtidy.dll from C:/ >Program Files >Common files >Apple >Apple Application Support to C:/ >Program Files >Common Files >Apple >MObile Device Support. This should solve the matter.
