upgradeded cpu, now nothing worksClosed

Question

Hello, 
i just swapped out my amd 3800+ for a 4800+ second hand 939 cpu, when i turned on the power again, my computer beeps 4 times shiows nothing on screen, and shuts off after maybe 30 secvonds. so i swapped cpu's back, same thing happens! any help?

That was a great help.
I must have somehow shorted my graphics card during upgrade :-(
swapped it with my old one, now all is well.
I now have a better cpu, but an older graphics card.
This upgrade = Fail.
