HOW TO FORMAT MEMORY CARD?Closed

Hello, 

I have 1 GB memory card that contain lots of viruses now. when  conect it to my PC either my PC gets hang or memory card doesnt open.  so now i want to format my memory card, as my pc gets hang i can not use windows options of formt. i m tring to format it through ms dos command... but italso not working fine..

plz suggest me any alternative... i want to reuse my card... dont want to lost it :)
