Need help on user profile problem

Hello,

So I work for a University and cannot figure out how to stop the computers from saying "User Profile Service service has had a problem" or somthing like that. I found a fix that will fix it for 6 hrs to 3 days. I am wondering is there a way to fix it for good using something in the Registry?

If anyone know something please let me know.
