Hi. I recently went out of the country so I'm using a laptop for my itunes. I had a few songs on my laptop that I wanted to transfer to my iphone so I tried clicking "manual music" in order to move songs from the laptop on to my iphone. However, a message continued popping up saying that I could only use this option if I sync my iphone to the laptop since it was already sync-ed to my desktop back home. I backed up my music and then agreed to sync it with the itunes on my laptop. However, all my music ended up being erased and when I went to restore my ipod, my music was still missing. ALL of them. I was wondering if there was anyway to restore my songs. Thank you so much for your help.

hi,

i think you have to have all of your music on one computer or it will sync and replace songs and entertainment from other computers that synced to your iphone. Just try it anyway. hope it works.
