Help with factory restore on vista

Hello,


i have tried and tried to restore my computer to factory settings, but cant log in. i do the f8 on start. then go to the repair. it doesnt tell me to put in a language and anything like that and when it goes to the log in screen it says other user. so i click it and put in my user name and password. it doesnt take it. if anyone knows anything of this problem thanx

Hi,

Ill advise its better to take your recovery cd and boot from it and start from scratch as the result will be the same and the one you are trying is directly from recovery partition which may be corrupted with some required files.
