Not able to open pdf files

Hello,
Please can you advise me why just suddenly I cannot open a pdf file attachement or from my stored files.
message reads : This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the file folder Options control panel.

Hello,

is Adobe Reader installed?

if yes:-

Right click on the PDF file and "Open With" > Look for Adobe Reader

If no:-

Install it https://get2.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/
