My dell laptop suddenly stopped working

Hello,
today I opened my laptop and checked a video and the sound was working very nicely.then suddenly it stopped working.i checked it with earphones and without it.but still it was not working.it happenned 2 weeks before also that time i restarted it and then it worked.Ithought it was the same problem so i shutted down and for some time i didnt touch it but still it is not working.all the taskbar icons are not there.if anyone know how to solve the problem.please do send me a message pleaseee. my laptop is in windows 10
