Have you forgotten your charger? This hotel room hack has got you covered!

Did you forget your charger while traveling? Don't worry, this hotel room hack has got you covered, and it's truly a lifesaver.

Arriving at your hotel room after a long journey should be a relief—unless you realize you've left behind something crucial. Forgetting medication or personal belongings can be stressful enough, but discovering that your phone's charger has been abandoned at the airport or even at home can add to the frustration. Read this article to discover a trick for charging your phone at a hotel when you don't have a charger.

Every hotel room has a TV, and it is your solution. Shared by Instagram user Armen Adamjan (@creative_explained), this clever tip reveals that most newer television models come equipped with a USB port, usually situated on the rear or side of the unit. With a compatible USB cable for your phone, you can easily plug it into the television to recharge your device.

Just be sure to turn on the television—some sets may not provide power to the USB port if they're switched off—and be patient, as charging via the television's USB port tends to be slower than using a dedicated charger.

However, not all hotel televisions will have USB ports. This could be due to using older models or because the hotel chain wants to limit the functionality of the set. In such cases, you may also find USB ports in newer power outlets, desktop chargers, or even in lamps. But if you're in a pinch and your phone is desperately low on battery, don't hesitate to inquire at the front desk about any spare charging blocks available in their lost and found. After all, phone chargers are among the most commonly forgotten items by hotel guests.

By utilizing these ingenious charging options, you can ensure that your phone stays powered up throughout your stay, leaving you free to enjoy your travels without worrying about a dead battery.

In his Instagram account, Armen Adamjan shares great tips for travelers, such as utilizing the ironing board for extra surface area or desk space, and other numerous lifehacks to ensure a seamless and stress-free stay.
