Can I Download Sketch For Free?
So, you may be wondering, how can I download Sketch? Well, you can do that by clicking on the green download button on the top of this page. The installation process of Sketch is very straightforward. Just make sure to carefully follow the on-screen instructions and you will be ready to create your first design within the shortest time.
That said, Sketch unfortunately doesn't offer an entirely free tier. The only thing you are able to do as a non-paying user, is viewing the workspaces you have been invited to. The price for a Standard Sketch editor account is $9 monthly or $99 yearly.
The newest stable release of Sketch is version 74.1. Users that are interested in trying out the newest improvements and features before everyone else does, can download the latest Sketch beta edition.
Can You Use Sketch on Windows?
Sketch is a native Mac app that uses specific frameworks and technologies that are only possible on macOS. For now, the developer of Sketch has no plans to launch an application for Windows or other operating systems.
However, we have very good news for you if you don't own a Mac. There is also a web-based version of Sketch software, which is entirely browser-based. Sketch Web is fully compatible with Windows and Linux. Check it out here.
Sketch is compatible with macOS 1015 (Catalina) or newer. Furthermore, you will need at least 4GB RAM and 2GB free disk space.
