Afterlight is a photo editing app for Android and Apple devices. It compiles handy and snappy tools to provide another look to a given image. It was developed by Afterlight Collective, Inc and aims to offer users a simple and quick way to enhance their photos. In this article, we discuss some of the app’s key features, as well as some additional information.

Key Features
Here are some of the Afterlight app’s main features:
- Filters: Aftelight comes with over 130 filters. These unique filters are created by photographers, so the professional result is guaranteed. With this rich and beautiful library, you will undoubtedly find the best way possible to enhance your photos.
- Tools: Filters are great but Afterlight offers more than to simply apply filters. It also has over 20 editing tools that will allow you to go deeper in the editing process and consider every detail: advanced curves, selective hue, saturation, lightness, Overlays, Gradients, Grain, among others are on the list.
- Textures and Overlays: To make your photos even more special and unique, you have over 60 textures and overlays at your disposal, and most of them are inspired by disposable cameras. Enjoy a light leak made with a real 35mm film and other effects like dust texture and shifting RBG channels with thanks to the Color Shift tool.
- Interface: Another great thing about Afterlight is the app’s intuitive and stylish interface. You don’t need any previous training to handle the app and it is also a great starting point for beginners.
Is Afterlight Safe?
It seems that the app has no history of security issues or abusive data collecting. As always, we recommend reading the official Privacy policy in order to take note of the way Afterlight uses your data. In general, the app seems as safe as any other photo editing tool.
