Reaper is digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software, an acronym for Rapid Environment for Audio Production, Engineering, and Recording. Record: With Reaper, users are free to record directly to a dozen formats, including any sample rate or bit depth. Moreover, recording multiple takes and layers, overdubbing, punching in and out, as well as recording in a loop are also supported. Stereo, surround, and multichannel recording is also supported.

Produce: Reaper makes using various functionalities easy: move, splitting, gluing, resizing, trimming, looping, time-stretching, pitch shifting, fading and crossfading, slipping, snapping to grid can be done intuitively and it doesn’t require switching tools. Reaper includes an automatic plug-in delay compensation (PDC).
