I cant access my wiki at my home network

Hello,
I just tried to set up a wiki at home. I used a WAMP server and set up the mediawiki and everything.my website would display correctly at 127.0.0.1. Then i registered my website with dyndns. it said i have to to download dns update api so that my IP is synchronized with the website. I did that too and got the thumbs up from it. but now if i type my website name say xyz.com in the browser.. it says the link appears broken! I have NO idea what went wrong. I am new to all this so could someone help me out?
