Pc wont boto up properly

Hello,
when my girlfriend tries to start up her computer it goes to the screen where it says hit f1 or f10 and freezes there. any ideas whats wrong? she tried her sisters pc and mine there and they did the same thing.

You should press F1 to continue booting

she has tried that and it just sits there
