Hello,
I have a Dentist office customer that has 3 stations in their front office all having ethernet cat5 jacks at their desk for their PC's.
Question, I need to install 3 ethernet cat5 credit card machines at each location but they require their own direct cat5 port. What device can I use to split the cat5 main cable and service both the PC and the credit card machine?
thanks

HAHA!

This is funny!

By completing these this way, you are not going to get cat5 standards in transmission.

Take a look at this device:

You will need two for each cable, one at the switch side, and one at the client!

Have fun!

P.S.

I would get a quote to pull the cable from a local contractor to perform it properly, to be honest, we are talking about CC payment, and this is the cost of doing business!!!!!
