Hi all

I just got a new Seagate and it comes with a USB3 cable. My laptop is running Windows XP with service pack three installed. How can I get the new unit to talk with the old laptop. or is their something I can add to interface the two units?

Thanks

My understanding is that any USB 3 device is backward compatible with USB 2. The device will just operate at the USB 2 slower speed.
